Frequently Asked Questions

What are research peptides?
Research peptides are lab-synthesized compounds made of short chains of amino acids. They are intended strictly for scientific research and not for human or veterinary use.
Are these peptides legal?
Yes. Our peptides are legal for research use under U.S. law and are not classified as controlled substances. However, they are not approved for human or veterinary use. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that purchasing and using these compounds complies with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
What does "for research use only" mean?
It means the product is not approved for human or animal consumption. It may be used in laboratory studies, chemical analysis, or educational settings. Selling for any other purpose is strictly prohibited.
Do you sell to individuals?
Yes. We sell to qualified researchers, institutions, and individuals who are conducting legitimate research. All customers must agree to our terms of sale, which strictly prohibit the use of our products for human or veterinary purposes.
Do your peptides come with a Certificate of Analysis?
We perform quality control through random batch sampling based on established process validation and control capabilities. While not every single lot is individually tested, we monitor for consistency using a statistically stable and verified manufacturing process. Certificates of Analysis (COAs) are available for select batches upon request.
Do you have third-party testing?
Yes. We utilize Freedom Diagnostics, a US owned and operating testing laboratory to verify the accuracy of our products. COAs are available by visiting each respective product page and clicking View COA.
Are your peptides sterile?
No. Our products are lyophilized research compounds and are not sterile. If sterility is required for your research, filtration through a 0.22 micron sterile filter is recommended prior to use.
Are your products compounded or manufactured?
Our peptides are manufactured by trusted global partners using strict quality control protocols and are independently verified for purity. While they are not compounded in a U.S.-based lab, we ensure all products meet rigorous standards before being made available for research use.
Do you accept credit cards or crypto?
Yes. We accept all major U.S. credit and debit cards through our secure checkout. At this time, we do not accept cryptocurrency payments, but we may explore alternative payment methods in the future.
Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?
Our products are competitively priced whether you're purchasing a single vial or a larger quantity. However, if you're placing a high-volume order or represent a clinic, lab, or research institution, please contact us directly. We’re happy to discuss custom pricing options based on your needs.
Is there a minimum order?
No. There is no minimum order quantity. Whether you're purchasing a single vial or multiple products, you're welcome to order according to your research needs.
Do you offer same-day shipping?
Yes. Orders placed before 12 PM EST Monday–Friday (excluding holidays) will ship the same business day. If there are any delays or interruptions in fulfillment, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. We ship exclusively with UPS 2nd Day Air to ensure fast and reliable delivery.
Can I cancel or modify an order?
Once an order is placed, we begin processing immediately. Please contact support as soon as possible if you need to make changes.
What should I do if my package is lost?
Please contact us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date. We will help resolve issues with the carrier or send a replacement if needed.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we only ship within the United States. We do not support international shipping due to regulatory and customs limitations.
How should peptides be stored?
Before reconstitution, peptides should be stored at -4°F (-20°C) in their lyophilized form. After mixing with sterile water, store at 35-46°F and use within 30 days.
Can peptides be stored at room temperature?
Brief exposure to room temperature is fine during shipping. For long-term storage, peptides should be refrigerated or frozen to preserve potency.
Why is my vial not filled to the top?
Peptides are dosed by weight, not volume. Lyophilized peptides may appear as a small powder or cake due to their low mass after drying. This is normal.
How do I reconstitute a peptide?
Peptides are typically reconstituted using bacteriostatic water. Use sterile practices and refer to lab protocols. We do not provide dosage or administration instructions.
What is lyophilization?
Lyophilization, or freeze-drying, is a process that removes water from peptides at low temperatures and vacuum pressure to stabilize the product for long-term storage.
Do you offer liquid peptides?
No. We only sell lyophilized powder to ensure long-term stability. Liquid peptides degrade faster and have shorter shelf life.
How are peptides delivered?
Peptides are shipped in sealed vials inside tamper-evident, padded packaging. All shipments are handled discreetly and securely.
How do I read the label on my vial?
Each label includes the peptide name, concentration, and vial size, along with a QR code linking directly to the product page for detailed information. Additionally, Instant Peptides maintains full backend traceability for every product shipped, allowing us to track each vial by batch and lot number for quality assurance and support purposes.
Can I return a product?
Due to the sensitive nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. However, if you experience an issue with your order, please contact our support team. We review all concerns on a case-by-case basis and will do our best to ensure a fair resolution.
Do you have customer support?
Yes. Our U.S.-based support team is available by email and through our contact page. We’re committed to answering all inquiries within 24 business hours.
